A Bizarre Run Beginner Guide

New to A Bizarre Run? This guide covers your first session, from getting on your horse to drawing your Stand. Learn these basics and you'll be ready for both the race and the Battlegrounds.

    Join a server and pick a mode: enter the Bizarre Run and race for 1st place, or go to Battlegrounds to fight other players.

  2. 2

    On your horse, hold SHIFT to run at full speed and press SPACE to jump.

  3. 3

    If you fall off, press T to call your horse back right away so you lose as little ground as possible.

  4. 4

    Save F for the right moment. It's a one-time boost, so use it to make a pass or hold off a rival near the end.

  5. 5

    Press B to pull out your Stand. Hold C to choose a secondary item, then tap C to pull it out.

  6. 6

    Press X to emote and aura farm after you win a fight or finish a race.

A Bizarre Run Race Mode

The Bizarre Run is the main event, a horseback race inspired by Steel Ball Run where everyone wants 1st place. The race controls include horseback running, jumping, calling your horse after a fall and a one-time boost.

Goal

Race the rest of the server on horseback and cross the line in 1st place.

Speed

Hold SHIFT to run on your horse for most of the course, and use SPACE to jump.

Recovery

Falling off costs you time. Press T straight away to call your horse back.

Boost

Press F for the one-time boost.

Lobby Size

Servers hold up to 80 players, so races get crowded.

Battlegrounds is the PvP mode in A Bizarre Run. Choose a Stand and fight other players. It's the place to practise Stand combat and secondary items without having to race.

Stand Choice

Go into Battlegrounds with the Stand you choose and fight other players.

Summon

Press B to pull out your Stand at the start of a fight.

Secondary Items

Hold C to choose a secondary item, then tap C to pull it out mid-fight.

Aura Farm

Press X to emote after a kill or a win.

Your horse decides how well you race. These steps cover the riding controls in order, so you can stay mounted, keep your speed and recover quickly when things go wrong.

    Get on your horse and hold SHIFT to run instead of trotting.
