What Does Tusk Act 1 Do?
The A Bizarre Run Tusk kit lets you pressure opponents with ranged nail attacks instead of relying on close combat. Tusk Act 1 is part of the launch roster, giving you a projectile-focused option for fights during the race and in Battlegrounds. Its pre-release design pairs long-range attacks with recharging nails, healing, and a movement ability that helps you reposition.
That range comes with a tradeoff: the pre-release kit keeps your character crawling. Plan your positioning around that restriction, and use Nail Glide when you need to move quickly.

How to Get Tusk
Your opening Stand selection offers three options, and those choices involve RNG. Choose Tusk if it appears among them.

If your starting selection gives you something else, the race provides additional opportunities to change Stands:
- Stand-reset items appear along the race route.
- Stand Arrows can be found during stage two and let you obtain new Stands.
Watch the terrain for pickups while traveling between objectives. During stage two, check your surroundings before stopping for an item: other players can attack you there, and the route also contains environmental hazards and NPC ambushes.
Tusk Act 1 Moves and Nail Ammo
The pre-release Act 1 moveset emphasizes attacking from a distance while managing a limited supply of nails. Equipping Tusk replaces your revolver with 10 nails that recharge over time.

| Ability or resource | Function in the pre-release kit |
|---|---|
| Focused Nail Shot | Hold to charge a nail, then fire it toward an enemy. |
| Herbal Tea | Passively restores HP. |
| Nail Glide | Moves you quickly over a long distance. |
| Rapid Nail Shot | Fires successive nail projectiles as a ranged barrage. |
| Nail supply | Replaces the revolver with 10 recharging nails. |
Use Focused Nail Shot when you have enough space to charge and aim. Keep track of your remaining nails before committing to repeated attacks; the recharge mechanic makes ammunition management part of every extended fight.
Herbal Tea adds passive recovery, but keep moving and managing distance while it works. Avoid assuming that healing will cover the damage from staying within an opponent’s reach.
How to Fight With Tusk
Build your fights around space. The kit gives you ways to attack from far away, but its crawling movement makes careless positioning costly.
- Open with room to maneuver. Start charging a shot before an opponent gets close enough to pressure you.
- Aim before spending nails. Avoid emptying your supply with rushed shots while an enemy is moving unpredictably.
- Use Rapid Nail Shot when you can keep your aim on target. Its successive projectiles reward sustained accuracy.
- Reposition with Nail Glide when an opponent closes in. Use the distance it creates to set up another ranged attack.
- Practice spacing in Battlegrounds. This separate mode lets you fight with Stands obtained through the races without completing another race each time.
Press B to bring out your Stand. The combat tutorial also introduces basic attacks, blocking, and abilities; finish those lessons before taking the kit into crowded fights.
Corpse Parts and Surviving Stage Two
The pre-release Tusk progression system uses Saint’s Corpse Parts in stage two to advance the Stand. A large spawn effect makes the corpse part visible to everyone, turning the pickup into a contested objective.
Approach with your nail supply ready. Scan the players gathering around the part, and use your range to pressure opponents before moving into the crowd. Keep Nail Glide available for repositioning if someone pushes toward you.
Reaching that objective also means surviving the race itself. Stage one prevents players from shooting one another, while stage two opens up direct PvP and includes checkpoints, NPC encounters, and dangerous terrain.
At the town checkpoint, a required number of players must be eliminated before the border opens. Fog also forces movement when the fight drags on. Move toward a safer position before those pressures squeeze you into close combat, and avoid spending your entire nail supply just before entering a crowded checkpoint.
