What Is Battlegrounds Mode?
A Bizarre Run battlegrounds puts your Stand into a free-for-all fight against other players. Enter through the Battlegrounds section in the lobby to focus on combat instead of navigating a horse race. Learning your attacks, defensive inputs, and ability follow-ups gives you something useful to work on immediately.
The game combines two activities: the Steel Ball Run-inspired race and a separate fighting mode. Battlegrounds centers on basic attack strings, Stand skills, and combat against other players, while racing adds mounts, environmental hazards, and rules that change between stages.
You can play A Bizarre Run on Roblox for free. The experience supports up to 80 players per server.
Combat Controls to Learn First
Start with your Stand summon, basic attacks, block, and dash. These inputs let you practice the core fighting system before working through your entire moveset.

| Input | Combat or lobby action |
|---|---|
| B | Summon your Stand |
| Left Mouse Button | Basic attacks, commonly called M1s |
| Q | Dash |
| F | Block |
| 1–4 | Use skills |
| R | Empower move |
| Left Ctrl | Toggle Shift Lock |
| Space | Jump |
Horseback inputs have different functions. In combat, Q is dash and F is block; avoid carrying your racing inputs straight into a fight.
For secondary equipment, press C to pull out your item or hold C to choose one. Learn the distinction between tapping and holding before trying to change equipment under pressure.
How to Practice Stand Combat
Basic attacks form your standard combo string, and abilities can extend your offense. Certain Stands and abilities also have enhanced moves, giving you another part of the moveset to learn.

Work through these fundamentals with the Stand you already have:
- Practice the basic attack string. Learn what your M1 sequence looks like before adding skills.
- Add an ability follow-up. Practice chaining a skill with basic attacks instead of pressing every ability at once.
- Use your defensive inputs. Work blocking and dashing into fights alongside your attacks.
- Learn the empowered move. Check what R does for your current moveset before trying to build a combo around it.
Stand options include Star Platinum, Anubis, Tusk Act One, Mr. President, The Sun, and In a Silent Way. Their movesets differ, so repeat the same practice steps after changing Stands.
Keep your practice focused on one action at a time. Try an attack sequence, then work on connecting an ability to it. That gives each fight a specific purpose while you learn your current kit.
How to Get More Stands
Your opening Stand selection presents three choices. Later, Stand Arrows let you obtain additional Stands, and you can craft those arrows using Stand Arrow Fragments.
Fragments are available through Battlegrounds loot, race completion rewards, and quests. That gives combat-focused players a reason to keep fighting while leaving racing available as another route to resources.
Daily and Weekly Quests can award:
- Stand Arrow Fragments
- Rokakaka Fruit
- Spin Tickets
- Cash
Check each quest’s objective and reset timer before choosing what to tackle. Prioritize fragment rewards when your immediate goal is crafting another Stand Arrow.
For another combat option, visit the gyro NPC in the lobby and complete his quest line to unlock Spin. It gives you two steel balls for combat, replacing the revolver as your secondary item.
How Racing Fits Into Combat Progress
Racing shares the broader resource loop with Battlegrounds. Race rewards can help you obtain Stands, while Cash also supports purchases and mount customization.
Keep the race’s stage rules separate from arena combat. During stage one, shooting other players is disabled, although environmental destruction and dynamite still create opportunities for sabotage. Stage two allows direct attacks with equipment such as revolvers, shotguns, and lassos.
Choose Battlegrounds when you want to work on Stand attacks and defensive inputs. Switch to racing when you want to pursue race rewards or practice fighting around the additional pressure of terrain, mounts, and stage objectives.
